BRIDGEWATR, Va. – Penn College lost to Eastern Mennonite, 95-66, in a nonconference men's basketball game Sunday. The Wildcats fell to 2-4, while the Royals improved to 1-3.
How it happened: The opening five minutes was a one-possession game until Eastern used a 9-0 run to gain separation and eventually lead 49-34 at halftime. The Royals outscored Penn College, 46-32, in the second half.
Inside the box:
Gavin Barrett led the Wildcats with 18 points and eight assists.
Michael Woolridge added 14 points and
Livingston Cross grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.
Five players reached double-digits for the Royal.
