WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College improved to 3-0 following a 21-10 win over Albright in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Saturday at UPMC Field.
How it happened: The Wildcats jumped to an early 6-1 lead on a
Camden Elmo unassisted goal 4:23 into the game. The Wildcats extended their first quarter lead to 8-2 when
Sam Hills scored with 0:48 remaining in the period. Albright closed the gap to 10-5 to start the second period before Penn College went on a 5-0 run to boost their lead to 15-5 at the half.
The two teams exchanged goals to start the second half. The Wildcats extended their largest lead of the game to 12 at 20-8 with 7:34 to play in the fourth quarter.
Inside the box: Ten different Wildcats scored goals on the day.
Quinn Caviola, Hills and Elmo paced the team with four goals apiece.
James Cella made
five saves in net, while
Chad Szatkowski made three saves of his own.
