WASHINGTON, D.C. – Penn College snapped a three-game skid with a 75-58 win over Gallaudet in a United East men's basketball game Friday. The Wildcats improved to 4-7 United East, 9-11 overall, while the Bison fell to 0-11, 1-19.
How it happened: Penn College led all but 51 seconds of the first half and took its largest lead, 35-15, on a
Livingston Cross trey with 2:23 left before the break. The Wildcats led 37-20 at the break.
Penn College led by double-digits the entire second half, and led by as any as 31 on two separate occasions.
Inside the box:
Gavin Barrett netted a game-high 17 points and dished out a team-best eight assists.
Alec Cooper finished with 16, and
Rees Watkins added 10 points, and joined
Keon Evans with a team-best eight rebounds.
