ST. MARY'S, MD. – Penn College snapped a four-game winning streak after a 50-38 setback to St. Mary's in a United East women's basketball game Saturday. The Wildcats fell to 7-5 United East, 8-13 overall, while the Seahawks improved to 9-2, 13-6.

Emily Pardee's jay with under a minute to play gave the Wildcats their largest lead, 18-7, before leading 18-9 at the end of the first. PCT led by as many as nine, 20-11, after Aubrey Setts' jumper two minutes into the second quarter before the Wildcats took 26-22 advantage into the locker room.
The Seahawks used a 12-8 run to even the game at 34 in third quarter and both teams traded buckets to end the third deadlocked at 36. St. Mary's outscored Penn College 14-2 in the third to secure the win.
Inside the box: Pardee led Penn College with 12 points and Teats grabbed a team-best eight rebounds.
