WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College handed La Roche a 26-0 setback in a United East men's lacrosse game Saturday. The Wildcats won their third-straight game and improved to 1-1 United East, 8-2 overall, while the Hawks fell to 0-1, 0-7.
How it happened: Penn College built a 13-0 lead after the first and 19-0 at halftime. The Wildcats outscored La Roche, 7-0, in the second half.
Inside the box: Fifteen different players scored for Penn College, led by
Sam Hills,
Quinn Caviola, and Harrison Schlacta's three goals. Caviola added five assists and
Andrew Osterman registered four helpers to lead 11 different Wildcats with assists. Four goalies manned the pipes for Penn College with
Hunter Barone turning away two shots, and starter
Chad Szatkowski earning the win.
