WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College handled Bryn Athyn, 13-2, in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Wednesday. The Wildcats improved to 9-2, while the Lions fell to 2-2.
How it happened: Following a scoreless first quarter, Penn College pumped in four goals in the second with
Camden Elmo,
Brendan Kuczma,
Sam Hills, and
Croix Teter all finding the back of the net. Bryn Athyn scored its first goal early in the third before the Wildcats netted five unanswered – including two from
Trevor Soli, and one from Elmo, Teter, and
Quinn Caviola. PCT outpaced the Lions, 4-1, in the fourth.
Inside the box: Soli and Teter both finished with three goals to lead Penn College, while Elmo finished with a pair of scores and three assists.
Mason Nester caused three turnovers and
Isaac Hernandez scooped four groundballs.
James Cella turned away 11 shots in goal for the Wildcats.
