WASHINGTON, D.C. – Penn College completed a three-game of Gallaudet with a 20-7 win over the Bison in a United East baseball game Sunday. The Wildcats improved to 5-1 UE, 10-8 overall.
How it happened: Gallaudet jumped out to a 4-0 lead before Penn College added four in the second, two in the third and one in the fourth and fifth to lead 8-5. The Wildcats tacked on four in the seventh and eight in the eighth.
Inside the box:
Cameron Dick went 5 for 5 at the plate with five RBIs and two runs scored, while
Quinn Hanafin finished 3 for 4 with two RBIs and two runs scored,
Jacob Carles was 4 for 7 with two RBIs and two runs scored, and
Anthony Barbella went 2 for 5 with three RBIs and two runs scored to pace the offense. Starting pitcher
Chance Webb went six innings, fanning six, and improved to 3-2.
