ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. — Penn College's tennis teams both lost in United East play at St. Mary's (Md.) College on Saturday, the men by a 5-0 score and the women, 6-0. Penn College's men now are 1-3 in the UE and 2-4 overall, while its women are 0-3 UE, 2-5 overall. The St. Mary's men are 4-0 UE, 7-3 overall and its women are 3-0 UE, 6-4 overall.
How it happened: The Wildcat men dropped two singles and three doubles matches, while the other four singles matches were suspended. The Penn College women lost three singles and three doubles matches, with the other three singles matches suspended.
Inside the box: Kyle Shuler had the most competitive singles match for the men at the second position where he lost, 6-2, 6-2, while the most competitive doubles matches came at No. 1 and No. 2 where
