WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 15-6 decision against Westminster in a nonconference men's lacrosse game Friday. The Wildcats fell to 10-6, while the Titans improved to 10-6.
How it happened: Westminster took an early 3-1 lead late in the first quarter before man-up scores from
Camden Elmo and
Sam Hills deadlocked the contest at 3-3 early in the second. The Titans answered with three-straight, but the Wildcats clawed back with scores by
Sam Hills and
Harrison Schlachta early the third to get within one, 6-5, with 11:15 on the clock. The Titans outscored Penn College, 9-1, the remainder of the game.
Inside the box: Elmo finished with three goals and assist for Penn College and Hills added two scores and one helper to pace the offense.
James Cella took the loss in goal after stopping 16 shots.
Up next: The Wildcats conclude the regular season Saturday, 12 p.m., hosting Wells College.
