WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's men's and women's tennis teams both dropped their United East home matches with Penn State Abington on Friday, the men losing, 6-3, and the women falling, 7-2.
The Wildcat men now are 1-1 in the UE and 2-3 overall, while the women are 0-1 UE and 2-4 overall. Penn State Abington's men are 2-1 UE, 7-2 overall and its women are 1-1 UE, 3-7 overall.
How it happened men: Penn College captured two singles and one doubles match.
How it happened women: The Wildcats won two singles matches.
Inside the box, men: Winning for the Wildcats were Alex Norris and Logan Ogden, at the third and fifth singles positions, and Norris-Kyle Shuler at No. 1 doubles.
Inside the box, women: Penn College winners were Lauren Peck, at No. 2 singles, and Madalyn Adams, at No. 3 singles.
