CRESSEN, Pa. – Penn College netted a pair of first half goals in a 2-2 draw against Mt. Aloysius in nonconference women's soccer match Friday. The Wildcats opened the season at 0-0-1.
How it happened:
Kaelynn Sheetz struck early with a goal in the first minute to give PCT a 1-0 lead. MAC netted consecutive scores in the sixth and 12
th minutes to take a 2-1 advantage, before BillieGean Hennesy found Sheetz in the 27
th minute to net the equalizer.
Penn College fired six shots in the second half, and Mt. Aloysius fired three, but neither managed to twitch twine.
Inside the box: The Wildcats held a 15-9 advantage in shots, while Mt. Aloysius held a 7-2 edge in corner kicks.
Nicole Lichtinger turned away seven shots in goal.
