WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College women's soccer remains unbeaten through the 2023 campaign as the Wildcats played to a 0-0 draw against Marymount on a soggy Sunday afternoon at UPMC Field. The Wildcats record sits at 3-0-4 while the Saints move to 1-5-2.
How it happened: Both teams were playing their second game in back-to-back days. Marymount's offense tallied 13 shots to the WIldcats' three but neither side could get past the opposing goalkeepers.
Morgan Solano earned five saves in her first clean sheet of the season.
BillieGean Hennessy and
Gillian Way both had a pair of shots on goal that just missed.
Inside the box: The Saints were credited with six shots on goal and won the corner battle, 8-5.
