WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College women's soccer saw eight different goal scorers in the Wildcats' 9-0 rout of a short-handed Clarks Summit squad on Monday, Sept. 25 at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improve to 5-0-5 while the Defenders fall to 0-5-0.
How it happened: Wiley Egan was the lone Wildcats to cash in with two goals in the match. Egan's first goal came just two minutes into the contest and she netted the team's fourth goal in the 21st minute. Leading scorer Kaelynn Sheetz would not be left off the scoring ledger with the second goal in the sixth minute and assisted Piper Minier in the eighth minute.
Hayleigh Klinger and Emma Fox scored in the 42nd and 43rd minute to give the Wildcats a 6-0 lead at the break. Cassie Johnson, BillieGean Hennessy and Holly Herbert round out the scoring in the second half.
Inside the box: Penn College racked up 25 shots with 15 on frame as the Defender keeper earned six saves. Seven of the nine PCT goals were assisted. Sara Darlington earned an assist, Mia Clark was credited with two, while Johnson, Sheetz, Herbert and Fox all ended the night with three points.
