MIDDLETOWN, Pa. -- Penn College dropped a three-set United East Conference match at Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday afternoon. The Wildcats' conference mark fell to 1-5 and are 3-18 overall on the season while the Nittany Lions improved to 4-1 UE, 13-6 overall.
How it happened: Harrisburg claimed set scores of 25-16, 25-6 and 25-14 to win the match.
Inside the box: Nevaeh Ward led the Wildcats with seven kills and posted seven digs while
Lana Howard posted a .444 hitting percentage with four kills.
Ava Harple finished the night with a team-high 11 digs and
Jo Hess dished out 11 assists.Â
Up next: Penn College heads to the nation's capitol on Saturday for the Gallaudet tri-match to take on fellow United East member Bison and a nonconference McDaniel squad at 11 a.m., and 1 p.m., respectively.
