WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College fell, 3-0 in a United East Conference volleyball match against St. Mary's on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats dropped to 1-7 in conference matches, 3-22 overall. St. Mary's moved to 8-1 UE, 16-10 overall.
How it happened: The Seahawks won set scores of 25-9, 25-13 and 25-12.
Inside the box: Navaeh Ward posted eight points with a team-best seven kills and a service ace while adding eight digs on the defensive end.
Laney Wolfe (9) and
Jo Hess (7) combined for 16 digs while Hess assisted on 13 of the team's 16 kills.Â
St. Mary's was led by Maya Mauro and Julia Bobrowski who finished with 10 and 13 kills, respectively.
