WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College stayed unbeaten with a 6-0 win over Rosemont in a United East women's soccer match Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 2-0-1 United East, 8-0-4 overall, while the Ravens fell to 1-1, 5-5.
How it happened:
Megan Kurian put Penn College on the board when she deposited
Sierra Klinger's pass in the 21
st minute.
Cassie Johnson later found
Lucy Kontir in the 36
th minute to give the Wildcats a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Kurian scored her team-high 15
th goal of the season when
Wiley Egan connected with her in the 52
nd minute. Egan then found
Sierra Klinger in the 65
th minute to put PCT ahead 4-0.
Rylee Oliphant and
Olivia Casella connected on the Wildcats final two scores, in the 84
th and 89
th minutes.
Inside the box: Penn College outshot Rosemont, 25-2 (13-1 on-goal) and held a 10-0 advantage in corner kicks.
Nicole Lichtinger improved to 5-0-4 in goal.
