WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College fell in straight-sets to Cairn on Saturday afternoon in United East volleyball action. The Wildcats conference mark sits at 1-1, (3-14 overall) while the Highlanders moved to 2-0, (8-2 overall).
How it happened: Cairn earned set victories of 25-9, 25-14 and 25-17.
Inside the box:Â Nevaeh Ward led the 'Cats with 10 kills and one ace for 11 points while
Hailey DeBrody posted three aces and
Lana Howard chipped in with two.
Laney Wolfe (13) and
Ava Harple (10) finished with double-digit digs on the defensive end.
