WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College dropped a 38-9 decision against No. 25 Lycoming College in the first Billtown Brawl hosted by Penn College at the Community Arts Center. The Wildcats fell to 8-10, while the Warriors improved to 11-2.
How it happened: Lycoming took a 12-0 before
Noah Hunt put Penn College on the board with a 7-2 decision at 149 against Kobin Karper. Hunt went ahead 3-0 with a takedown at the edge of the circle in the first before an escape made it 3-1. Hunt quickly answered with another takedown and a 6-1 advantage to the end the first. Both wrestlers exchanged escapes in the second and third periods.
After the Warriors picked up a major decision at 157,
Liam Goodrich used a double under hook to deck Logan Bartlett in 2:18 to make it 16-6 at 165. Lycoming recorded bonus-point wins in the final four matches.
