ALTOONA, Pa. -- Penn College men's tennis wrapped up nonconference competition falling to Penn State Altoona, 8-1 on Thursday evening. The Wildcats dropped to 0-4 while the Lions are 3-3.
How it happened:Â Penn College took one singles match while PS Altoona captured the other five singles and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box:Â Scoring the lone win for the Wildcats was Kyle Shuler at No. 1 singles, by the scores of 6-4, 6-3. Also in competitive matches for Penn College were Logan Ogden at No. 3 singles, who lost 6-3, 6-3; Matt Williams at No. 4 singles, who fell 6-4, 7-5; Jayden Manbeck at No. 5 singles, losing 6-4, 6-2; and Connor Pierce at No. 6 singles, who dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision.
