MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn College's men's and women's tennis teams both opened their United East seasons with 9-0 losses at Penn State Harrisburg on Friday. Penn College's men are 0-1 in the UE and 0-5 overall and its women are 0-1 UE and 2-5 overall. Harrisburg's men are 2-0 UE and 7-5 overall and its women are 2-0 UE and 7-6 overall.
How it happened: Harrisburg teams won all six singles and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box: For Penn College, Kyle Shuler had the most competitive match with a 6-2, 6-4 loss at No. 1 singles.
