Wildcats Dominate Bryn Athyn

BRYN ATHYN, Pa. -- Penn College men's lacrosse dominated Bryn Anthn, 19-3 in a United East clash on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats snapped a two-game slide and are 4-1 in conference action, 8-7 overall. The Lions dropped to 0-3 UE, 2-6 overall.

How it happened: The Wildcats were quick to strike in the third minute of action when Will Ehret found Harrison Schlacta for the first of his four goals on the day. The Lions responded with a goal six minutes later before AJ Dotson and Aidan McFalls gave the Wildcats a 3-1 lead in the first quarter. 

Devin Page started a four-goal run for the Wildcats in the second frame and Joey Rebilas scored unassisted before the half to give Penn College a 9-3 advantage. 

The Wildcats tacked on 10 second half goals with seven in the third and three in the fourth while blanking the Lions. 

Inside the box: Aidan McFalls finished with a game-high 11 points on four goals and seven assists. Schlachta finished with four goals and AJ Dotson added a hat-trick with three goals and an assist for four points in the win. 

Ian Stambaugh led the defensive effort with three caused turnovers and Jaydon Hazzard collected two ground balls. Dax Shallis earned his second win of the season after posting seven saves in the first half. 

Up next: Penn College hosts Lycoming College for the final nonconference matchup of the season on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
