WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College defeated third-seeded Keystone, 22-9 in a United East Men's Lacrosse semifinal game on Wednesday evening. The second-seeded Wildcats improved to 10-8 on the season after its first postseason victory and advanced to the championship game at top-seeded St. Mary's on Saturday. The Giants finished their season with a 6-10 record.
How it happened: Penn College netted 13 goals before Keystone was able to get on the board to open the game. The Wildcats scored a season-high 10 goals behind a first-quarter hat-trick from
AJ Dotson.
Jake Small scored his own hat-trick with the 11th goal of the game at the 13:07 mark in the second quarter.
The Wildcats took a 13-2 lead into halftime and added seven goals in the third and two more in the fourth frame for the victory.Â
Inside the box: Dotson finished with a team-high six goals and three assists while
Aidan McFalls joined Dotson and Small with a hat-trick. McFalls and Small both dished out two assists for five points.
Michael Stank won 13-of-26 faceoffs and the Wildcats forced 29 turnovers as
Mason Nester scooped up a team-high six ground balls on the defensive end.

Ryan Twist combined for 11 saves between the pipes.
