WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College topped visiting Thiel, 8-0 in nonconference women's soccer action on Wednesday night. The Wildcats keep their unbeaten streak going as they sit at 2-0-2, the Tomcats fall to 1-3-0.
How it happened: The Wildcats put the pressure on the Tomcats early on during the first 15 minutes of play before
Wiley Egan scored on a cross from
Megan Kurian in the 33rd minute. The two Wildcats made the score 2-0, this time it was Egan to Kurian in the 34th minute and
Cassie Johnson put away the third goal in the 37th minute.Â
Olivia Casella scored a hat-trick with three of the Wildcats' next four goals in the 48th, 51st and 58th minutes to give the Wildcats a seven-goal cushion and
Kathryn Dunn deposited the final tally in the 84th minute.
Inside the box: Penn College ripped 41 total shots with 28 on net, forcing 20 saves by the Thiel keepers, while it was a quiet night for
Nicole Lichtinger who collected two saves in the victory.Â
