GRANTHAM, Pa. – Penn College dropped two women's volleyball matches at the Messiah Tri-Match on Saturday. The Wildcats fell to Penn State Berks, 3-0, and the Falcons, 3-0. The Wildcats record sits at 2-13 while the Lions are 3-7 and Falcons are 10-5.
How it happened: The Wildcats dropped the opening match to the Lions in three sets, 25-19, 26-24, 25-11.
Eliza Newcomer led the Wildcats with a .375 hitting percentage.
Nevaeh Ward racked up eight kills and
Jo Hess contributed with nine assists.
Against the Falcons, in a 25-8, 25-13 & 25-11 final, Ward, Newcomer and
Hailey DeBrody all registered two kills.
