ANNVILLE, Pa. — Penn College's men finished ninth in a 17-team field with 232 points and its women were 15th of 19 teams with 442 points at the Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday.
Penn College men: Matthew Woolcock placed 41st in 27:48 over an 8K course. Rounding out the top five were Alec Rees, 52nd in 28:14; Ethan Knapp, 60th in 28:25; Jacob Parker, 82nd in 29:02; and Chase Ebeling, 96th in 29:27.
Men's field: Host Lebanon Valley claimed the team title with 21 points and had the top individual in a 188-runner field in Rory Lieberman, with a time of 25:05.
Penn College women: Elaina Brady was 98th in 22:31 over a 5K course. Also in the top five were Lillian DePew, 137th in 24:26; Karleigh Hunter, 143rd in 25:00; Kayleigh Miller, 146th in 25:10; and Adelyn McDermott, 165th in 28:15.
Women's field: Scranton took the top spot with 64 points, while Moravian's Tara Smurla led the 186-runner field in 18:22.
