BRYN MAWR, Pa. — Penn College snapped a three-game losing streak with a hard-fought 77-76 United East men's basketball win at Rosemont College
Tuesday night. Penn College now is 4-3 in the UE and 6-10 overall. Rosemont is 2-6 UE and 3-13 overall.
How it happened: With the score tied at 68 and
2:53 remaining, the Wildcats scored the next five points on
Julien Leveille's foul shot and layups by
Gavin Barrett and
DJ Smith III to go ahead for good. Penn College led twice by as many as 13 points, once in each half.
Inside the box: Livingston Cross recorded his 14
th double-double of the season with 23 points and 15 rebounds, while Barrett ended with 15 points and nine assists, and Smith tacked on 13 points.
Brian Mordi led Rosemont with 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jejuan Taylor added 16 points and 10 rebounds.
