MEDIA, Pa. -- Two second half goals lifted Penn College to a 2-0 United East Conference men's soccer victory at Penn State Brandywine Tuesday afternoon. The conference victory improved the Wildcats' record to 4-1-2, 9-4-2 overall and dropped the Lions to 1-1-5 UE, 2-12-1 overall.
How it happened: After a scoreless first 45 minutes, Penn College forced a Brandywine own-goal in the 63rd minute.
Silas Miller added the brace in the 88th minute with an assist from
Will Watson to hand the Wildcats three points in the conference standings in the final week of regular season action.
Inside the box: Miller netted his third goal on the season while Watson dished out his first career assist.
Justin Crismale stopped three shots to earn his sixth shutout and eighth victory on the season.
Penn College outshot the Lions 20-7, (11-3 on-goal). and lined up for four corners.
