ALLENWOOD, Pa. — Penn College's men's and women's cross-country teams split with crosstown rival Lycoming College in races on Tuesday, with the men winning 17-43 and the women falling 27-30.
Penn College men 8K: Wildcat runners took the first four places with Ben Causak covering the course in 31:09, followed by Mitchell Campbell in 31:35, Holden Furey in 31:47 and Ethan Knapp in 32:06. Also for Penn College, Chase Ebeling was seventh in 32:13, Oliver Galicki was eighth in 32:28, Jacob Parker was 10th in 35:47, Ben Heym was 11th in 35:48, Owen Troop was 13th in 38:52, Jackson Small was 14th in 40:31 and Matthew Wheeland was 16th on 44:37.
Penn College women 6K: Alexis Durn took the top spot in 27:23, while Elaina Brady was third in 27:44, Ellie Miller was fifth in 31:36, Gwynn Johnson was 10th in 34:03, Adelyn McDermott was 11th in 34:29 and Isabella Telford was 15th in 42:26.
