LATHAM, N.Y. -- Penn College's Gunner Redmond (Lock Haven, Pa.) was named United Eats Conference Golfer of the Week, the league announced on Tuesday. Redmond captured his first weekly honor after earning two top-10 finishes and individual medalist honors at the United East Fall Preview on Thursday.

Redmond led the Wildcats to its fourth-straight Fall Preview victory with an even-par 72 round on the Dauphin Highlands Golf Course. He tallied two birdies and an eagle to stay on par for the day and earn his first career medalist honors.

The senior Wildcat carded a 3-over 145 to finish tied for ninth in the Northeast Elite at the Williamsport Country Club to start the week. Redmond hit an even-par 71 on Sunday before he finished with a 74 on Monday. Redmond led the field with two eagles and was ninth with 22 pars on the course.
