LATROBE, Pa. -- Penn College 165-pounder, Carter Davis (York, Pa.) was named Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Wrestler of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday. Davis earned his second weekly award of his career and earned the second consecutive weekly honor following TJ Martin's announcement last week.

The Wildcat sophomore kept his perfect record alive with a 4-0 day to claim an individual title at the Shenandoah Invitational on Sunday. Davis started his day with a first-period tech fall before rattling off a pair of decisions to reach the final bout. He dispatched Alvernia's Jacob Ebaugh with a 12-0 major decision to earn his second consecutive individual tournament title of the season.
