ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Penn College secured the No. 4 seed in the United East women's basketball playoffs after a 64-43 win over Cedar Crest Saturday. The Wildcats wrapped up the regular season with an NCA Era program overall record of 15-10, 12-4 United East.
Penn College's top four seed earned it a first round bye in next week's playoffs.
How it happened: Penn College jumped out to an 8-0 lead, behind five points from
Lexi Troup, en route to a 21-8 first quarter lead. The Wildcats outscored CC, 11-8, in the second to take a 32-16 lead at halftime. The Wildcats led by as many as 19 in the third and by as much as 22, twice, in the fourth.

Gigi Parlante recorded her 16
th double-double of her rookie season with a game-high 22 points and a game-best 11 rebounds.
Emily Pardee added 13 points, while
Lexi Troup added 10.
