MEDIA, Pa. – Penn College cruised to an 86-66 win over Penn State Brandywine in a United East women's basketball game Saturday. The Wildcats improved to 10-4 United East, 13-10 overall, while the Nittany Lions fell to 2-20, 1-13.
How it happened: Penn College led the first quarter by as many as nine, 16-7, on an
Emily Pardee layup at the 3:41 mark before ending the quarter ahead, 18-11. After the Lions pulled with three, 25-22, with 4:56 left in the second, PCT exploded with a 16-5 run to lead 41-27 at halftime.
The Wildcats led by double-digits the remainder of the game.
Inside the box: The Wildcats featured five players in double-figures in its highest offensive output of the season.
Gigi Parlante finished with a game-high 23 points and a game-best 15 rebounds for her 14th double-double of the season.

Emily Pardee and
Kayleigh Miller both finished with 12, and RaeAnna Andrea scored a career-high 10 points.
