READING, Pa. -- Penn College handled Alvernia, 8-3 in nonconference men's lacrosse action on Wednesday night. The Wildcats improved to 7-3 while dropping the Golden Wolves to 6-2.
How it happened: Owen Kupsey scored the game's first goal with 12:16 to play in the first quarter and added to the Wildcats lead just 55 seconds later from an assist by
Elliot Dotson. Alvernia leveled the score with the next two goals before
Harrison Schlachta handed the Wildcats the lead for good with 3:47 left in the opening frame.Â
Kupsey polished off his first-half hat-trick with the lone strike in the second quarter with 4:24 on the clock. Penn College strung together three goals in the third quarter and one in the fourth to record its lowest-scoring victory since an 8-5 win at Immaculata on March 5, 2022.

Graham Rex all caused two turnovers while

Ryan Twist collected 17 saves in net for a .850 save percentage in the win.
