ABINGTON, Pa. — Penn College's tennis teams lost in United East play at Penn State Abington on Sunday, the men 5-2 and the women 6-1. Penn College's men are 1-3 in the UE and 2-8 overall, and Abington's men are 3-1 UE, 9-1 overall. Penn College's women are 2-3 UE and 2-10 overall, and Abington's women are 3-2 UE and 6-5 overall.
 
Inside the box men: Abington captured five singles matches, and Penn College took two of three in doubles.
 
How it happened men: Alex Norris won at No. 3 singles, 4-6, 6-1, 6-4, for the Wildcats; and in doubles

Logan Ogden won at No. 2, 6-1; and

Matt Williams won at No. 3, 6-2.

How it happened women: Posting the lone Penn College win was 
Faith Murray at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 6-0.
