IMMACULATA, Pa. – Penn College fell, 22-11, to Immaculata University in a nonconference baseball game Thursday. The Wildcats dropped to 15-14, while the Mighty Macs improved to 9-21.
How it happened: IU exploded for 12 runs in the first inning and five in the third to take a 17-0 lead. Penn College added five in the fourth, one in the fifth and sixth, and four in the seventh on an
Adam Cornelius grand slam, while the Macs plated two in the fourth and three in the fifth.
Inside the box: PCT finished with seven hits, with
Bailey Grim picking up a pair. Cornelius drove in four for the Wildcats, while
Ethan Stahl,
Kevin Cute, and
Logan Hinnershitz brought in two each.
