SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's tennis team both lost to Penn State Harrisburg by 7-0 scores in Wednesday's United East matches. For the men, Penn College is now 1-2 in the UE and 2-7 overall, and Harrisburg is 5-0 in the UE and 10-5 overall. For the women, Penn College is 2-2 UE and 2-9 overall, and Harrisburg is 5-1 UE and 10-5 overall.
How it happened men: Harrisburg captured all six singles and all three doubles matches.
Inside the box men: The most competitive matches for Penn College came from John Finnegan at No. 3 singles, 2-6, 4-6; Hunter Knosky at No. 6 singles, 4-6, 1-6; and Logan Ogden-Kyle Shuler at No. 2 doubles, 7-6 (7-1 tiebreaker).
How it happened women: Harrisburg claimed all six singles and all three doubles matches, two by forfeit.
