LATHAM, N.Y. -- Penn College sophomore
Faith Murray (Dillsburg, Pa.) earned her selection to the United East Women's Tennis Third Team All-Conference list, announced on Tuesday. Murray earned her first career all-conference award and became just the fourth women's tennis all-conference selection in the NCAA-era, joining Emily Bell (17-18),
Georgia Macensky and Marcie Harman (2020-21).
Murray topped the Wildcats this season with a 4-2 conference record with two victories at both of the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. In her four victories, Murray outscored her opponents 48-6 in four straight-set wins. She also posted a 3-3 doubles record with two wins at the No. 1 position when she was paired with
Ellen Buckley, and once at the No. 2 slot when paired with
Kayla Weinzierl.
