WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College knocked off Pitt-Greensburg, 3-1, in a nonconference women's soccer match Sunday at UPMC Field. The Wildcats improved to 5-0-1, while the Bobcats fell to 2-4-1.
How it happened: Penn College peppered the Bobcats with all its goals in the first half.
Sierra Klinger finished a flick from
Sara Darlington in the fourth minute to give PCT a 1-0 lead and later scored an unassisted tally in the 14
th minute.
Ella Garman made it 3-0 with an unassisted goal in the 42
nd minute.
Greensburg added a score in the 80
th minute.
Inside the box: Penn College outshot the Bobcats, 16-6 (9-2 on-goal), and held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Taylor Brownback picked up the win in goal with a save.
Up next: The Wildcats return to action Wednesday, 7 p.m., hosting Penn State-Altoona.
