WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College blanked La Roche University, 6-0, in a nonconference women's soccer match during Senior Day on Wildcat Weekend Saturday. Penn College is now 7-0-1, and La Roche is 3-4.

How it Happened: The Wildcats scored three goals in each half, with senior Brooke Klinger getting the rout started just 46 seconds into the match. Fellow Wildcat senior, Sara Darlington added the second goal at the 21:12 mark, and Mikayla Gordon got the third on an assist by Ashley Gordon 20 seconds before halftime. In the second half, Ella Garman tallied on an assist by Darlington at 46:54, Gordon scored at 53:30, and Holly Herbert closed out the scoring at 75:33 on an assist by Cadence Holmberg. The goal by Garman was her fifth of the season, and Klinger's was her fourth. In the goal for Penn College, Ginny Yost went the distance and made one save to pick up her second win as the team recorded its fifth shutout.

Inside the Box: Penn College dominated statistically with a 31-3 advantage in shots (15-1 on goal), and a 6-0 edge in corner kicks. The Wildcats backline of Makayla Bucks, Ashley Gordon and Ava Gamble paved the way for just one save recorded to Ginny Yost who picked up her second victory on the season.
