LANGHORNE, Pa. -- Penn College mauled its way to a 3-0 United East Conference women's soccer opening victory at Cairn on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats extended its regular season unbeaten streak to 34 matches and begin the 2025 conference schedule at 1-0-0, 8-0-2 overall. Cairn starts 0-1-0, 1-6-1 overall.
How it happened: The Wildcats wasted no time to get on the board in the fourth minute when
Brooke Klinger found
Cadence Holmberg for her second strike of the season. Klinger added her second assist of the afternoon in the 59th minute to
Ella Garman and a 2-0 lead.
Sara Darlington scored unassisted in the 77th minute in the victory.
