ALTOONA, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team dropped its nonconference fall season opener at Penn State Altoona on Wednesday, 7-0. Penn College is 0-1 and PS Altoona is 1-0.
How it happened: PS Altoona won all six singles matches, five contested, and all three doubles matches, two of them contested.
Inside the box: Top game winners for the Wildcats were Avery Hawk at No. 3 singles, Frankie Gagliardi at No. 4 singles and Valentino Barillaro at No. 5 singles.
