Wildcats even record at 1-1

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team evened its record at 1-1 with a 4-3 nonconference win at crosstown rival Lycoming College on Friday. Lycoming dropped to 0-1.

How it happened: The Wildcats won four of six singles matches and one of three doubles matches.

Inside the box: With the team score tied at three-all, Penn College's Logan Ogden pulled out a 6-2, 6-7, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles to secure the victory. Also winning for the Wildcats were Kyle Shuler at No. 1, Jayden Manbeck at No. 4 and Frankie Gagliardi at No. 6.

Up next: Penn College will compete at the King's College Invitational next Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 13-14.
