WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College dropped three sets to Alfred State in a nonconference women's volleyball match on Friday evening. The Wildcats fell to 1-4 on the season while the Pioneers improved to 5-0.
How it happened: Alfred State claimed set scores of 25-21, 25, 25-15, 25-20 to take the match.
Inside the box: Lilly Stockum led the Wildcat offense with a season-high 11 kills for the second consecutive match and added two aces.
Haylie Thomsen posted a match-high five aces and
Ellen Banfill dished out 17 assists. Alfred State hit .352 and held a 34-25 kills advantage.Â
