WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- A conference-high Nine Penn College wrestlers earned a spot in their respective Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Individual championship final to earn AMCC All-Conference honors and second-year head coach
Dalton Rohrbaugh was named AMCC Men's Wrestling Coach of the Year announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Rohrbaugh led the Wildcats to their second consecutive AMCC team title by just 1.5 points (152.0) over Penn State Behrend (150.5). Rohrbaugh helped
Kaden Ware (Brooklyn, Conn.),
Carter Davis (York, Pa.) and
Nick Woodruff (Wyalusing, Pa.) to individual AMCC titles while guiding 11 more Wildcats to top-4 finishes in the championship tournament on Feb. 14.
Ware, Davis and Woodruff won the 141, 165 and 197-pound weight classes, respectively, to earn their spot on the AMCC First-Team list.
Blake Dergham (Slatington, Pa.),
Chase Shaner (Hughesville, Pa),
TJ Martin (Honesdale, Pa.),
Brett Patton (West Chester, Pa.),
Gavin Gomes (Denville, N.J.) and
Nicholai Brotzman (Marietta, Pa.) all earned runner-up finishes and a slot on the AMCC Second-Team.Â
Ware became a two-time AMCC Champion and First-Team honoree with a dominating run through the 141-pound bracket. The Junior Wildcat knocked off two Alfred State opponents with a 2:33 pin in the quarters and a 19-2 tech fall in the semifinal before defeating teammate, Shaner 18-1 for the 141-pound championship.
Davis also earned his second-straight AMCC title at 165-pounds with a 2:01 pin against Pitt-Bradford's Peyton Mitchell in the quarters, an 18-2 tech fall over Christian Warren of Alfred State in the semis and a medical forfeit win for gold.
Woodruff put a stamp on the team race for the Wildcats' second-consecutive team title with a first-period pin over Penn State Behrend's Abe Keep in the 197-pound final. He defeated Behrend's Caleb McCollum with a 1:06 pin in the quarterfinal round and a 16-0 tech fall over Alfred State's Hunter LaVigne in the semis to reach his first AMCC gold medal match.
Martin earned his third-consecutive all-conference honor after a first-place finish in 2025 and a runner-up in 2024. Martin posted an 8-3 decision in the semifinals against Alfred State's Kyle Meyer before falling to Behrend's Rudy Brown in the 149-pound final.
Brotzman secured his second straight AMCC postseason honor as the junior 285-pounder won an individual crown in 2025. He picked up two pins over Behrend's Elishua Daugherty and Alfred State's Colton Hai before falling in the 285-pound final.
Dergham (133), Shaner (141), Patton (157) and Gomes (174) all went 1-1 in their respective brackets to claim their first all-conference accolades.Â
