SCRANTON, Pa. -- Penn College defeated Marywood, 13-6, in a midweek nonconference men's lacrosse game Wednesday evening. The Wildcats improve to 8-2 while the Pacers fell to 4-5 overall.
How it happened: The Wildcats opened with a 6-3 lead after the first quarter as Eliot Dotson got a feed from
Will Ehret for the opening goal at the 13:41 mark.
John Dolezal and Dotson followed with two unassisted goals to lead 3-0 in the first three minutes of action.
Brody Borkowski,
Owen Kupsey and
Aidan McFalls also tallied goals in the opening 15 minutes.Â
Will Ehret's man-up goal gave the Wildcats tan 8-5 lead heading into halftime and
Owen Kupsey's third goal pushed the lead to 12-5 after three quarters.Â
Inside the box: Kupsey and Dotson netted a pair of four-goal performances. Kupsey added three assists to post a team-high seven points.
Alex Hammond picked up his first victory in goal with 10 saves while
Antonio Santora won 9-of-12 faceoffs.
