WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Penn College handled Shenandoah, 16-1, in a nonconference men's lacrosse matchup on Friday afternoon. The Wildcats improved to 5-1, while the Hornets dropped to 2-4.
How it happened: Penn College scored the first 10 goals of the contest and led 10-1 at the half to control the game.
Elliot Dotson scored a first-period hat-trick while Aiden McFalls, John Dolezal and
Daniel Kalizak also scored to lead 6-0 after the first 15 minutes.
Owen Kupsey registered his hat-trick in the second period with scores in the 11:05, 7:44 and 2:24 marks. After the break, PCT scored four in the third and two in the fourth quarter for the win.
Inside the box: Dotson and Kupsey led the offense with seven and five points, respectively.
John Dolezal scored a pair of goals as the Wildcats benefitted from seven more scorers.
Colten Hajicek,
Austin Callahan and
Pat Maychak caused two turnovers each on the defensive end.Â
Ryan Twist posted seven saves in goal for the win while Adam Hammond also collected five saves.
Antonio Santora won five-of-eight faceoffs.
