WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Penn College's men's tennis team posted a 6-1 nonconference win at King's College on Friday. The Wildcats are now 5-6 overall and King's is 1-8. The scheduled women's match was canceled.
How it happened men: Penn College captured five of six singles matches, and all three doubles matches.
On the court men: Wildcat singles winners were Kyle Shuler at No. 1, 6-1, 6-1; Josh Myers at No. 2, 6-3, 6-4; Logan Ogden at No. 3, 6-6 (7-5 tiebreaker), 6-0; Matt Williams at No. 4, 6-0, 6-2; and Avery Hawk at No. 5, 6-3, 7-5. Doubles victors were Shuler-Myers at No. 1, 6-2; Ogden-Williams at No. 2, 6-2; and Hawk-Christian Abromovage at No. 3, 6-3.
