BRADFORD, Pa. -- Penn College defeated Pitt-Bradford, 21-3, in a United East Conference men's lacrosse game Wednesday afternoon. The Wildcats capped their regular season with a 2-1 conference mark to secure the #2 seed and a home semifinal game in the conference playoffs while also matching their single-season wins record with a 13-4 overall record. Pitt-Bradford dropped to 1-1 UEC, 11-4 overall.
How it happened: Penn College scored eight goals in the first quarter and three in the second to take a commanding 11-0 lead at the half.
Will Ehret got the action started from an assist by
Elliot Dotson at the 13:15 mark and scored all four of his goals in the first half.
Owen Kupsey also tallied a first half hat-trick with goals at the 11:32 mark and two-straight goals with 3:09 and 2:58 left in the second quarter.
The Wildcats cruised to the win with seven more goals in the third quarter and three in the fourth quarter.
Inside the box: Kupsey and Ehret led the attack with four goals each while
Elliot Dotson posted a team-high five points with two goals and three assists.
Ryan Twist collected three saves to earn the win in net.
Alex Hammond posted four saves in the final 22 minutes of the game.
