WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College knocked off Pitt-Bradford, 29-6, in the United East men's lacrosse semifinal Wednesday. The Wildcats advanced to their third-straight United East championship game and improved to 14-4.
How it happened: Penn College took an early 13-0 lead after the first quarter and led 19-2 at halftime. The Wildcats outscored the Panthers 10-0 in the second half.
Inside the box:
Owen Kupsey,
Gavin Selchert, and
Chase Kaplan all scored three goals for PCT, while A.J. Dotson,
Jesse Weick,
Will Ehret, and
John Dolezal all netted a pair. Kaplan also finished with a game-best four assists.
Ryan Twist picked up the win in goal and combined with
Alex Hammond, and
Dylan Corros for nine saves.
Up next: Penn College travels to St. Mary's Saturday, 12 p.m., for the United East championship.
