Penn College Athletics Introduces 2025-26 CATS Award Winners

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Penn College honored six student-athletes at the ninth annual CATS Awards on Sunday afternoon in the ACC Auditorium.
 
Ella Garman (Women's Soccer) and Justin Crismale (Men's Soccer) were named Female and Male Newcomer of the Year award winners. The category also included Lilly Stockum (Women's Volleyball), Taylor Brown (Softball), Ryder Palubinski (Men's Lacrosse), Chase Shaner (Wrestling) and Chase Dillman (Golf).
 
Garman was named to the United East first team, as well as the conference's Rookie of the Year. She also garnered a third-team all-region selection after scoring 12 goals and dishing out four assists.

Crismale earned United East first-team honors and was named the conference's Rookie of the Year after helping lead his team to the United East championship game. He finished 10-6-2 and led the conference with seven shutouts.
 
Sara Darlington (Women's Soccer) and Carter Davis (Wrestling) were selected as the Female and Male Athletes of the Year. The nominees also included Gigi Parlante (Women's Basketball), Lilly Stockum (Women's Volleyball), Mackenzi Tice (Softball), Justin Crismale (Men's Soccer), Elliot Dotson (Men's Lacrosse) and Gunner Redmond (Golf).

Darlington was named to the United East first team after scoring 21 goals and dishing out seven assists. She also earned a third-team all-region selection after helping her team reach the conference semifinals.

Davis finished the season with a 31-6 record, an AMCC Championship and regional runner-up finish. At the NCAA Tournament, he finished with a program-best 3-2 mark, including an upset win over the No. 4 nationally ranked wrestler in his weight class.
 
Mia Patterson (Women's Basketball) and Nick Woodruff (Wrestling) earned the Female and Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors. The category included Morgan Solano (Women's Soccer), Lauren Peck (Women's Tennis), Landon Reeder (Men's Basketball), Mitch Campbell (Men's Cross Country), Colton Hajicek (Men's Lacrosse), and Mason Kostick (Men's Soccer).
 
Patterson was named the United East Senior Scholar-Athlete, the conference's Elite 21 award winner and United East all-academic team, as well as the CSC academic all-district. A 4.0 nursing major, Mia is six-time dean's list selection and member of Chi Sigma Alpha and Sigma Theta Tau. On the court, she averaged 26.8 minutes per game, 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds.

Woodruff is a two-time scholar all-american, a two-time AMCC all-academic selection and member of Chi Alpha sigma. On the mat, Nick was a AMCC Champion, and regional third place-finish before going 2-2 at the NCAA Championship.
 
In the second annual SAAC Awards category, Hunter Gabloff (Men's Soccer) and Kenni Galbreath (Women's Basketball) were named Mr. and Ms. Wildcat. Breana Valentine (Women's Basketball) and AJ Dotson (Men's Lacrosse) earned Breakout Moment of the Year. Darlington (Women's Soccer) and Zach Foskey (Men's Soccer) earned Comeback Player of the Year.

Meridith Boucher, the Wildcats' Head Athletic Trainer, was selected as the Wildcats' Staff Member of the Year and Men's Lacrosse earned the Community Service Award to wrap up the 2025-26 CATS Award winners.
